Quaker Insights – Isaac Penington
Born in 1616, Isaac Penington was one of the earliest Quakers, promoting and writing about the movement. Like many early Friends, he was often imprisoned for his beliefs and was jailed a total of six times. Writing from his experience of imprisonment, Isaac’s emphasis on living with integrity is still relevant today.
