What is the Quaker Way?

7:30pm - 8:30pm

What is the Quaker Way? is a monthly series of informal sessions for newcomers and those curious about Quakers to meet online and discuss different aspects of Quaker practice. Each session involves small group sharing and listening, and we begin and end with a short period of silent worship. They are led by staff from  Quakers in Britain and  Woodbrooke.

You are welcome to attend one or more of these sessions, and you can join any month for the first time.

The dates for 2024 are; 12th December.

The dates for 2025 are; 16th January, 13th February, 20th March, 17th April, 22nd May, 19th June, 17th July, 18th Sep, 23rd Oct & 20th Nov.


Quaker Universalist Group

7:00pm - 8:30pm (ish!)

Quaker Universalist Group meet monthly for a short period of worship, a short talk on a topic of ‘universalist’ interest and discussion.

It takes place on Zoom on the third Wednesday of each month.

The meetings start at 7.00 p.m. The Zoom will open at 6.45 p.m. The formal part of the meeting usually lasts until about 8pm (when some people may leave) and is then left open for another 30-45 minutes for general discussion/chat, always in the Quaker manner.


Quakers and Business Group - Making Values Visible

7:00pm - 8:00pm

Making Values Visible is a monthly online discussion group tackling ethical questions and stresses in the workplace and wider economy with an emphasis on supporting the individual to speak their mind when they know what is right.

It is held on the third Wednesday of the month.
